The best seller books on relationships are just that - best sellers. Do they tell you what women crave the most? Do they give you a step by step guide on how to give it to her? Do they tell you how to recover from a break up? Do they give you specific techniques to alleviate your pain? So how do you choose the best book on relationships from the heap out there?
Are you taken in by the degrees of the author? Do not be because a relationship counselor should be engaging with people rather than spending their time in the classroom or the library. They may have a list of degrees after their name, most of which may be Greek to you anyway, but that does not mean they have expertise on the field. Experts work in the real world.
Can you find relationship authors who have got their hands dirty working with broken people? They possess a deep empathy for people and they help countless buddies put a bad relationship back on track. These are not therapy patients coming in for an hour or so. What if it gives you techniques that not only helps you get back your ex but also helps you improve all your personal relationships of family and friends? What if its author deeply cares for you, answers your mails and helps you get back on track? Would you buy that book?
The best book on relationships would be the one giving very specific advice and the one which has a caring author who has been there in the trenches.
